Transit to Russia and CIS
Air transport:
- All Baltic airports offer excellent possibility for continuing flights to further destinations in C.I.S. countries and to Far East.
- All airports are located besides warehousing centres to offer consolidation and distribution of cargo.
Rail transport:
As of 2007, there are two regular railway transport routes for containers:
- Moscow, Russia
- Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Blocktrains departure at least once a week. Departure frequency can be increased in case of bigger cargo volumes.
Transit time to Moscow is about 3-4 days, to Almaty about 14-21 days.
Trucking:
Trucking service is available to many destinations. Wide choice of companies offer trucking as FCL, LCL, FTL and LTL.
